On Day 1 of the 2-day holiday camp, you will be introduced to curated designs around the world to inspire and create. You will begin with sketching of ideas for your own moving vehicle by applying Design Thinking skills to understand the spatial needs required to support the ice cream production and sales. You will then prototype your Ice Cream Truck design in 3D, bringing ideas to life!
On Day 2, upon completion of your Ice Cream Truck prototype, you will be introduced to the digital craft of Graphic Design with Canva. You will learn how Graphic Designers create visual content to communicate messages by applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, also understanding typography to design your Ice Cream Brand Logo and a Poster to advertise for the grand opening of your Ice Cream Truck.
DesignTinkers promise it will be two full days of fun learning; developing your creative eye and aesthetic sensibility in both digital 2D crafting and physical 3D prototyping.
Laptops will be provided for student’s logo, poster & menu design in Canva. You are encouraged to bring your own laptop or IPad to continue working on your project at home, if preferred. Do email hello@designtinkers.sg to let them know if you will be bringing your own laptop, a week before your holiday camp starts.
A specially prepared thumb drive will be gifted to each student to save all their digital work completed at the holiday camp.

We offer 100% refunds for items not yet out for delivery or services not yet rendered, except in exceptional cases.
When refunds are applicable, we will review the request on a case-by-case basis. Do note that refunds will be for the amount paid on the BYKidO platform, and not for any amount paid directly to the merchant.
Once the item has been out for delivery or the service rendered, BYKidO will no longer be able to offer any direct refunds. Instead, refund requests related to amount paid directly to the merchant, or when items have been received or services rendered, will be directed to the respective merchant of the item / service.
For these cases, you may contact the merchant directly or approach us for assistance. While we are not able to do a direct refund, we are committed to resolving any issues between you and our merchants, and will assist you accordingly.
