Every child has the potential to be a hero for the Earth and every child who joins the programme will build up their C.O.U.R.A.G.E. traits to be able to do that in the future!
C.O.U.R.A.G.E. stands for Curiosity, Optimism, Undauntedness, Resourcefulness, Adaptability, Grittiness, and Empathy. These are huge words that encompasses character traits that many parents will agree relate to becoming future-ready adults - character traits that can only be taught outside the textbooks and classroom, traits that can be built and strengthened through experiences and hands-on learning.
Exciting Missions Around The Island This March!
Join Ranger Buddies on a series of exciting missions around Singapore to discover how small actions can make a big difference to Earth. With activities designed to teach essential character traits, your child can immerse themselves in learning through play. Missions are available at i12 Katong, West Mall, One Punggol, and Singapore Zoo, or you can complete the 7-day challenge from the comfort of your own home.
At The Malls

At i12 Katong, West Mall, and One Punggol, Ranger Buddies will be transported to rainforest and river habitats to help their animal buddies in distress. With deforestation displacing our animal friends, Ranger Buddies will have to brave different obstacles using their C.O.U.R.A.G.E. strength to save the animals. For each strength demonstrated, Ranger Buddies will receive a stamp on a card, and a digital and physical badge awaits them once they complete the mission.

Here are the obstacles that your child will need to overcome!
- Teleport into a rainforest with fallen trees and find a way to start saving the animals!
- Exercise empathy and rescue animals that have been trapped under fallen branches
- Stay undaunted at a polluted river by jumping across rocks and picking up plastics
- Use resources available to figure out how to cross a river
- Cross a broken bridge by stepping on the right planks based on a dice roll
- At the end of your mission, take a photo with the family and redeem your reward

At Singapore Zoo
From 10 Mar to 2 Apr, Ranger Buddies who visit the Singapore Zoo can become a Keeper for a day and learn about the important role that zoos play in caring for animals. Incorporating the five domains of Animal Welfare, Ranger Buddies will have to demonstrate all seven C.O.U.R.A.G.E. strengths to complete the mission.
Children will be taking part in several activities and learning journeys including
- Observe animal behaviour to learn more about wildlife
- Learn how to the Zoo incubates avian and reptile eggs and repopulate animal species
- Learn how dangerous animals are not so scary when you know exactly what to do
- Build a toy for animals using upcycled materials to engage them mentally and physically
- Adapt to differing situations by using different tools when the need calls for it
- Talk to keepers on duty to find out how their day was
