Discover Interactive Installations Around Raffles Place

Kickstart the festive season with Raffles Place Alliance and bring on the joy and cheer! Happening from now until the end of December, discover larger-than-life ornamental installations and add your own creative flair with first-of-its-kind interactive installations displayed at selected locations around the Raffles Place precinct.

Featuring several designs in the likeness of iconic festive ornaments — think towering Christmas trees, gigantic present boxes, and intricate snowflakes — the Christmas décor comes in the form of larger-than-life sizes, embodying the fun and bright colours of the season.

Embark On A Full Festive Journey Experience

For the full festive journey experience, here’s the recommended route for you to embark on to capture all your precious moments and interact with the festive installations while picking up sumptuous festive treats and delightful gifts for your loved ones along the way:

  • Start off your festive journey at Raffles Place Park as you exit Raffles Place MRT station. As you arrive at the park, the Christmas Tree ornament, along with other Christmas décor greet you at the green and at the entrance of Raffles Place Park. Gather your companions, ready your cameras and snap those shots under the Merry Christmas arch! For some light snacks, opt for small bites or a draught beer at VIBE Bistro in One Raffles Place, located just beside Raffles Place Park.

  • As you go on down to Ocean Financial Centre, there’s no better way to celebrate the joy of giving than with an interactive Present ornament located outside the office building. While in the area, be sure to visit one of the most popular cafes, PAUL, to enjoy a wide selection of festive specials such as pastries, cakes and desserts; simply perfect for gifting this festive season!

  • Next, walk towards Collyer Quay where you will catch another interactive Present ornament located at Collyer Quay Centre. For Christmas goodies and treats, stop by Laurent Bernard Chocolatier and browse through their Christmas celebration hampers, cookie tins and even adorable Reindeer chocolate trees! Spread the joy of giving this festive season with a chocolate revolution!

Need to refuel? Head to the nearby Clifford Centre to try D Place, a restaurant and social enterprise that gives second chances to the marginalised; their seasonal special, the Oxtail Bourguignon — which features meat that melts effortlessly off the bone — is a must-try.
  • At Singapore Land Tower just beside Collyer Quay Centre, spread the joy as you take a quick sighting of the Christmas Wreath greeting sign at the building.

  • Head on further within the Raffles Place precinct and onto Battery Road by the Singapore River. With the only Snowflake ornament installed, you won’t want to miss this interactive installation located at the Bank of China Building. And if you’re a wine lover, the Bank of China building is also the perfect location for you to find the perfect gift.

Located in the basement of the building, check out The Moomba, a popular wine shop established in 1998. It offers a wide selection of champagnes, wines and whiskies that are perfect gifts for your wine-enthusiast friends!

  • Circle back to One Raffles Place to jingle with the Christmas Bells interactive ornament located outside One Raffles Place. If you’re looking for more Christmas treats, head to Marks & Spencer, which has just brought in an expansive range of Christmas goodies.

  • Then, walk further past Malacca Street towards Republic Plaza to find the interactive Christmas Tree ornament and snap some shots! While you’re snapping those IG-worthy pictures, be sure to also check out Nalati Restaurant at Republic Plaza for some amazing, limited-time Christmas treats: Indulge in festive dishes such as smoked turkey salad, foie gras, chicken ballotine or seared sea bass.

  • For your last stop, make your way to Market Street for the interactive Bells ornament at CapitaGreen. For dinner, head up to the 40th floor of the building, and take in the panoramic view of Singapore through the lens of a diner at the Artemis Grill & Sky Bar. This rooftop Mediterranean restaurant offers you a wide array of sensational food such as seafood, grilled meat, sweet desserts and cocktails.

How to Enjoy The Interactive Installations

At the six installations around the precinct — aside from the installations at Raffles Place Park — whip out your mobile phone and enjoy 2 minutes of a light show that you can create from 7pm to 12 midnight when the installations are lit up.

Begin by scanning the QR code, then customise the colour of the lights on the décor. Next, select from 5 Christmas tunes and the lights will dance to the song you have chosen. Lastly, you can dim and change the colours of the lights via your mobile phone.

To control the lights on the installations, follow these simple steps:

  1. Scan the QR code* to control the festive décor.
  2. To change the colours on the decor, choose an area of the décor to light up and select the light colour of your choice.
  3. To make the lights dance, select a Christmas tune from the provided list, then dance to the music and snap your best pictures!
  4. For added effect, place your finger on the image of the décor for 5 seconds to let the lights fade in and out slowly and change colours!

*Each installation will have its own QR code and must be snapped on-site.
