Christmas is coming up, and that means it’s time for one of the biggest Christmas event in Singapore—Christmas Wonderland! This year too, the annual event brings us sun-roasted Singaporeans a white Christmas filled with many activities that promises to liven up this festive season!
From majestic Luminarie Light Sculptures to carnival games and rides, here’s a look at what you can expect at this year’s Christmas Wonderland!
Luminarie Light Sculptures & Blizzard Time
With installations like a tall luminarie Christmas tree, the tallest in Asia in fact, this year’s Luminarie Light Sculptures is sure to dazzle you. The highlight amongst the picture-perfect luminarie light sculptures is a stunning 21-meter tall Spalliera inspired by the iconic towers of San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy.

While seeing snowfall in Singapore might be a pipe dream, you can still get a taste of it at the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. At Blizzard Time, you can catch ‘snow’ falling against the backdrop of the luminarie light sculptures and Supertrees. While it may not be real snow, it still makes for a breath-taking experience.

Meadow Theatre
There’s a line-up of family-friendly theatre performances at The Meadow that you can enjoy with your kids. Take your pick from the award-winning acrobatic show Trash Test Dummy and The Old Shoemaker, a heart-warming tale of kindness, to Vitaly Beckaman’s Pure Wonder, a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience where photographs come to life and paintbrushes paint on their own!

Festive Market & Carnival Games and Rides
Every year at the Christmas Wonderland, you can expect to see a European-style Festive Market offering an array of bites and goods, enticing all who pass, shopaholic or not. And this year is no different. Soak in the ambiance and shop to your fill at the Festive Market featuring a collection of 24 specially designed wooden huts inspired by popular Christmas markets such as those in Hyde Park in London and the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris.
Adding on to the festive joy are Carnival Games and Rides. With 18 traditional carnival games and rides, from a Mini Viking and Bumper Cars to a Swing Chair Carousel, you can keep your kids and yourselves entertained. We heat there will also be a Christmas Train, aboard which you can soak in the sights and sounds of the festive season!
Christmas Parade & Santa’s Workshop
Keep an eye out for the Christmas Parade of colorful festive floats as your favorite Christmas characters dance to familiar holiday tunes and join them in the jolly fun!
What Christmas celebration is complete without an appearance from grandpa Santa? Journey to the North Pole, without getting on a flight, and take a walk through the forest and 'snow'-filled giant snow globe to Santa’s Workshop where you’ll be able to witness elves hard at work wrapping presents and fulfilling the wishes on their list! Santa will make an appearance 30 minutes after opening and 30 minutes before closing time. Take a picture with him as a keepsake of your magical journey through the Christmas Wonderland!
