Discover a Wow Wild World from the 26th of May till 11th of June 2023 as Marina Square celebrates World Environment Day (5th June) and World Ocean Day (8th June) with an educational oceanic wonderland and a plethora of engaging activities.
Majestic 3D Sculptures of Ocean Animals
Step into Marina Square's Central Atrium this school holiday period to discover majestic 3D sculptures of endangered ocean animals.
Taking center stage is an awe-inspiring sculpture of a magnificent whale measuring 8 meters long and other life-sized marine animals such as the shark, dolphin, turtle, seal, polar bears, and a waddle of penguins. Made with eco-friendly cardboard, these amazingly intricate cardboard creations bring the sculptures to life.
Pledge To Beat Plastic Pollution
Families can also join #BeatPlasticPollution by taking a pledge to reduce their environmental footprint and plastic consumption in favor of recyclable goods and waste reduction. The first 700 shoppers who make the pledge by taking a photo at the Pledge Booth will receive a mini whale cardboard DIY sculpture set.
Get Surrounded by AR Animals
Children (and adults) will be fascinated to meet a diverse range of wildlife animals through an immersive 3D augmented reality experience. Centered around a dynamic, ever-changing watering hole, the AR experience will enable adults and kids to meet the wildlife as they graze, drink, and interact with the environment around them.
Kids-Friendly Workshops
Marina Square will also be hosting workshops and activities where families can take part in and to hands-on to create usable items from discarded items.
Broken Made Whole: Sustainable Coaster Workshop by Chokmah (Adult & Child Team)
27 May, 4 June or 11 June, 3pm – 4.30pm (Central Atrium)
Make and design a customized coaster in any color using the environmentally friendly Jesmonite. Learn and discover the amazing properties of Jesmonite, followed by Chokmah's special upcycling process and casting techniques. Each team will bring home one upcycled coaster and a goodie bag comprising snacks, a plushie, and a mini cardboard DIY whale.

Paper Carton Upcycling Workshop (Adult & Child Team)

Bond with your child and learn how to create a useful card and coin holder using paper beverage cartons. With the useful tips and skills learned, start to recycle more of your home beverage cartons before they become trash!
How to sign up:

Kids Arts & Crafts
26 May – 11 June, 2pm – 6pm (Tue – Sun)
Children can make ocean-themed crafts at the Kids Zone and bring home their favorite marine animal. Ocean-themed visuals will be provided to let kids express their creativity through colors and imagination. Each child will receive an eco-themed badge upon completing a coloring sheet.
Spend and Redeem
Marina Square Rewards Members can get their hands on a specially designed wildlife animal-themed mug made with sustainable Bamboo Fibre. Simply spend a minimum of $100 (up to 3 receipts) at Marina Square to redeem one bamboo fibre mug at the Customer Service Counter.
