Get ready for something exciting at this year’s event—you won’t want to miss it, make sure to drop by! 

A Celebration of Customisation, Creativity, and Culture at AUAF 2024

Anticipate the first edition of TAILORED: Bore & Stroke, an exciting exhibition exploring the spirit of customisation in the automotive world and its influence on art, urban culture, fashion and lifestyle. Curated by The Block A Collective, this exhibition unpacks the deepest desire for personal expression through works by artists and creatives such as TraseOne, Metamo Industries, Mad Rat Inc. and more! 

You can also pick up a new skill or two at the airbrushing and poster design workshops led by some of the exhibition’s featured artists.

Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in the creative process! Discover the inner workings of the centre’s artistic groups with open studios and engaging activities, including theatre workshops by Avant Theatre and Language, live concerts by weird aftertaste, and a groundbreaking performance by New Opera Theatre in collaboration with RSCLS.

Graffiti in Action: Join the Live Art Sessions and Creative Tours at AUAF

Watch top regional graffiti artists in action as they transform the side and back walls of AAC with stunning new murals in real-time. A highlight of AUAF, these live graffiti painting sessions showcase the evolving canvas of the festival over the years.

Join RSCLS’s graffiti try-outs and leave your mark on AAC’s side alley. Plus, for just $5 per person, sign up for D’TOUR by RSCLS and explore the Kampong Gelam enclave through a fresh, alternative walking tour.

Skate, Shop, and Jam: The Ultimate Aliwal Experience

Experience a beginner-friendly skateboarding session at Aliwal Carpark. Don’t worry! All the safety gear and skateboards will be provided for you. SkateSG will also organise a competition featuring dynamic obstacles co-created with the community. 

Also happening at the Aliwal Carpark is an art market, Creators Marketplace by Suave Cartel Media, where you can check out 15-20 specially curated booths and participate in exciting raffle draws with attractive prizes to be won!

Finally, end the festival on a high with riveting performances, where visitors are invited to jam out to music from live DJ sets curated by Red Kite Music and exciting dance programmes curated by Singaporean dancer Darren Toh (“dt”).
