Global Robotics Games Finals 2023 with Hands-On Booths at Our Tampines Hub

Our Tampines Hub will be hosting the Global Robotics Games Finals 2023 with booths for public to hands-on as well!

Seventy-three teams – comprising 265 students from Singapore, China, Dubai, Iceland, India, Sri Lanka, The Netherlands and Vietnam – will be competing in the Global Robotics Games Finals 2023 from 15 to 17 Nov 2023 at Our Tampines Hub! 

Global Robotics Games

The robotics competition will focus on the theme of “Sustainable Solutions'' and the teams are to program their robots to complete a series of missions – such as sorting recyclables, collecting organic wastes, road safety, planting seeds and harnessing solar energy – on the competition playfield within a stipulated time.

There are seven categories (for participants aged 5 to 25 years old) for each level, with Champion, 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up in each category. 

The competition aims to promote robotics in the classroom by connecting robotics learning with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), an educational framework that brings reality into the classroom by connecting different subjects together in a way that they will relate to both the real and business world.

The Games offer a great opportunity for students to explore their passion for robotics and inspire them to pursue careers in this field. The experience of participating in the Global Robotics Games can be life-changing for students, as they discover their potential to become innovators and make a difference in the world.

Booths For The Public

A variety of booth exhibitors, including Science Centre Singapore, Wefaa Robotics, Stick’em, Artisan Bricks, and STEAM Engine, will be available for public exploration. The Science Centre Booth will showcase the Travelling Light Exhibition, while the STEAM Engine Booth will offer complimentary LEGO® Education Trial Workshops for young robotics enthusiasts aged 6 to 16 years old.

The Global Robotics Games Friendship Event and Award Ceremony will take place on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 3:30pm in the Community Auditorium (Level 3). Besides the three-day competition, the public is also welcome to join for the friendship event to meet robotics enthusiasts across the world and exchange ideas and expertise.

Location and Admission

Held at Our Tampines Hub’s Community Auditorium (Level 3), admission is free and the public is welcome to enjoy family fun activities and hands-on experience at the booths.
