Amadis is Australian born and bred but in recent years relocated to Singapore. She spends most of my free time experimenting with different artistic mediums such as painting, epoxy resin and clay. She believes that art truly is for everyone and actively practising creativity allows all of us to find inspiration in everything.
In her workshop "Resin Art", Amadis will be introducing the beauty of epoxy resin. Suitable for beginners, attendees will learn about resin as a medium, how to mix the right volume, and use colour theory to create their very own swirling resin design. Attendees will also get to take home their own hand-crafted resin coaster as well as knowledge on resin application, safety and mastering the curing process.
All materials will be provided.
Recommended age: 12 years and above.
Note:
1. Wear something comfortable!
2. Although the workshop resin is non-toxic, there is epoxy vapour exposure so if you have pre-existing respiratory conditions, this workshop may be unsuitable for you.
3. Participants will have to collect their completed resin coasters from the Habitat For Humanity Singapore office at their convenience (from the next day after the workshop).
