JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s Returns For Its 9th And Biggest Ever Edition!

The ninth edition of Asia’s largest youth football tournament is set to be the biggest yet - with a record number of 5,600 players, and an estimated 60,000 spectators!

JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s

The JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s is Asia’s Premier Youth Football competition which showcases the young talent of over 450 teams across 17 countries. Teams from all around the world will come together in April 2023 to compete in this 7-a-side tournament right here in sunny Singapore. This year’s anticipated turnout of 5,600 players – 10 times more than when it first started – competing in matches played over three days at three venues: Our Tampines Hub, The Arena at Woodleigh and The Cage at Turf City.

[Pre-Event] Coaching Convention

Date: 6 Apr 2023
Time: 4pm to 7pm

Held a day before the 7s, the JSSL Coaching Convention brings together the most innovative minds from the biggest clubs in world football (including world-class presentations from EPL and La Liga club representatives & a Guest Keynote Speaker), sharing their knowledge and expertise with fellow coaches and participants right here in Singapore.  

Regular 7's

From just 40 teams in 2013, the regular 7's competition has grown to over 450 teams with age categories ranging from U6 all the way to U16, allowing players of all ages and abilities a platform to showcase their talent. 

Professional 7's

The likes of Liverpool, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Valencia, and Man United have competed for the 7's trophy in the past. The JSSL Pro Academy 7's 2023 promises to be our biggest competition yet, with world-class teams coming from all the world.

The Finals

After a gruelling two days of competition, 16 teams will be crowned champions of the JSSL Pro Academy 7s in front of the thousands expected at the wonderful Our Tampines Hub on Sunday, 9 April 2023. Be there to catch all the excitement!

Tournament Rules & Regulations

The tournament is played under all applicable FIFA rules. Group stage matches are 22 minutes each with no half-time, while matches in the knock-out rounds are 25 minutes each (no half-time). All finals will be played at Our Tampines Hub on 9 April 2023.

This youth football tournament is also set to continue to grow with support from the Singapore Tourism Board for another three years.
