Norwegian Cultural Center brings the story of Karius and Baktus, a well-known family-friendly pedagogical story, loved by generations of Scandinavians, to Singapore for the first time. “Karius and Baktus” has revolutionised dental health since 1949 humorously and innovatively, highlighting the importance of dental health from a young age through play and the arts.
The Story
Follow the story of the two infamous Norwegian tooth trolls, Karius and Baktus! The two small tooth trolls live inside the teeth of a boy named Jens. They live a good life, made even better when Jens eats white bread with syrup and fails to brush his teeth afterwards. Eventually their homes, the cavities, are destroyed by a dentist and they are rinsed out of Jens’ mouth through proper dental care.
Translated To Chinese
For the first time ever, K&B will be translated to Chinese and presented to Singapore audiences. Shows in English and Chinese are available.
