In Saving Sensoria, little ones will join Sarah, a courageous girl with visual impairment, as they step into the enchanting realm of Sensoria and embark on an adventure to save the Heart that powers her village.
In this one-of-a-kind roving theatre experience, young explorers will explore various spaces within KidsSTOP™'s gallery as the story unfolds. Unlike traditional stage performances, little ones will enjoy an enhanced sense of adventure and participation as they move from scene to scene, becoming part of the story.
Filled with immersive storytelling, live actors, and hands-on activities, this is an excitingly fun and engaging way to introduce children to scientific concepts around the five senses. Beyond the science, the narrative promotes good values like acceptance and empathy, and it’s inclusive for children with diverse needs, featuring a visually-impaired lead actress.

The show features a visually-impaired lead actress, demonstrating that individuals of all abilities can thrive and take on heroic roles. It will also feature relaxed house rules to create a comfortable environment for everyone. Sensory bags will also be available for children who may need additional support throughout the show.
To help families prepare in advance, a social story and the show's soundtrack will be available online, so you can explore and familiarise yourselves with the experience before attending.
Dates and Times
Saving Sensoria will happen from 4 - 6 Oct 2024 at KidsSTOP™. Multiple sessions are available each day at the following timings,
- 10 am - 11 am
- 11.30 am - 12.30 pm
- 2 pm - 3 pm
- 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm
Each session is 1 hour long and includes a post-show hands-on activity, perfectly tailored to keep young children engaged without being overwhelming
