NDP 2022 will be held at The Float @ Marina Bay as well as activities, including Red Lions and celebrations at the Heartlands!

Wondering where NDP2022 will be held? It will be back at The Float @ Marina Bay! This year’s parade could be the final time the parade will be held at The Float before construction for NS Square is slated to begin in March 2023.
Heartland Celebrations

This year’s National Day celebrations, themed "Stronger Together, Majulah!", will kick off on the weekend of Aug 6 and 7, with heartland celebrations organised at 5 locations around the island in partnership with the People’s Association.
The 5 locations are
- Open Field next to Sembawang MRT
- Open Field next to Buona Vista MRT
- Open Field next to Punggol Waterway Point
- Bishan-AMK Park, Ficus Green
- Wisma Geyland Serai
Families can collect tickets to the carnivals from your nearest participating CC from 14 Jul 2022 at 10 am, these will come with coupons to use at the carnivals and to redeem the NDP pack! Or you can apply for etickets from 23 July 2022 at 10 am, these do NOT come with coupons or NDP pack.
Families will get to enjoy performance and family activities and view exhibitions and a “static display” of platforms by the Singapore Armed Forces and the Home Team! Families will also get to enjoy the Red Lions at the heartlands again as they make freefall jumps over two heartland sites.

And on 9 Aug 2022, look up into the sky to spot the state flag carried by chinooks and F-16 fighter jets executing a fighter island flypast across the nation!
Heartland Firework Locations And Details
This year, in addition to the fireworks at the floating platform, families can also expect five other heartland locations to have pyrotechnic displays too! These are:
- Jurong West Stadium
- Woodlands Stadium
- Bedok Stadium
- Open field infront of Ang Mo Kio library
- Former Tampines Junior College
The fireworks will go off for 10 minutes, from 8:15pm to 8:25pm on the day - at the same time as the fireworks at Marina Bay!
Families will also be allowed into the venues on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to the seating capacity of the respective locations.
Red Lions Jump Locations and Details
On 7 Aug 2022, families can witness the Red Lions freefall over two fields - next to Junction 8 in Bishan and along North Buona Vista Road near Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre.
Look out for them at around 9 am.
Total Defence Display
Previously called the Dynamic Defence Display, the Total Defence Display (TDD) makes its return after 5 years. The segment will comprise of 2 parts, 'Defending Our Country' and 'Securing Singapore Together'. The TDD for NDP 2022 is put together by the SAF and Home Team with more than 500 participants and 50 assets are involved in the TDD.
'Defending Our Country' underscores the role of SAF in its efforts to protect Singapore's sovereignty and independence. This segment showcases an array of technologically advanced assets from the Singapore Army, the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
Families can expect to see the RSAF’s F-16C/D fighter aircrafts manoeuvring around the Marina Bay, the RSN’s Naval Divers jumping off an RSAF CH-47F Heavy Lift Helicopter into the waters of Marina Bay and the Singapore Army’s Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank driving onto the promenade at the floating platform.
The second part of TDD, 'Securing Singapore Together' showcases Singapore's inter-agency response to a range of peacetime contingency scenarios such as firefighting, first aid and counterterrorism operations.
Be at the edge of your seat, as for the first time at NDP, the Special Forces from the SAF Special Operations Task Force will be demonstrating a hostage rescue from a “hijacked bus”.

As fireworks go off at The Float @ Marina Bay, the parade’s main location, they will also be set off in the heartlands concurrently. More details will be release subsequently!
Tickets To NDP2022
This year, families can try balloting for the 2 ticketed previews on top of the actual day parade. The organisers are targeting 25,000 - 26,000 per show, hopefully that means more families will get to enjoy the celebrations in person too!
Balloting For NDP2022
Families can apply to ballot for tickets to the NDP shows starting from 6 June 2022, 12 pm till 20 June 2022, 12 pm. The shows available for ballot are the NDP2022 previews and the actual show.

Results of the ballot will be announced from 27 Jun 2022 to 1 Jul 2022.
Things to Note
Each applicant can apply for either two, four or six tickets and is entitled to only one ballot chance. The tickets are not allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis and each ticket will admit only one spectator
Attendees must be fully vaccinated or be certified to be medically ineligible for all vaccines, said the organisers. Children 12 years or younger who are not vaccinated will be allowed to attend the parade.
