Heads up, balloting for tickets to the NDP 2019 shows starts from Thurs, 23rd May to 2nd June 2019 as reported on CNA. Here's how you may get your tickets to the shows this year!
Balloting for NDP Preview and Actual Show Tickets
Singaporeans and Permanent Residents may apply for 2, 4 or 6 tickets to the preview or actual shows. Show dates below:
- Preview: Jul 23
- Preview: Aug 3
- Actual: Aug 9
How to Ballot
You may apply on the NDP website (the website did not seem 100% ready when we visited on the 22nd of May) or via SAM and AXS stations. Each person is limited to 1 application regardless of mode of application (I imagine applications are tracked by NRIC / FIN).
You don't have to be the first to apply since its not first come first serve, but allocated via an electronic ballot system.
*Tip: Ballot using everyone's details in the family to increase your chances.

How many tickets to ballow for?
Each ticket admits 1 spectator, and ALL children (including infants in arms), will require a ticket to enter the parade.
Did not get a ticket before? The NDP organising committee says you will get a higher chance this year too!

NDP Celebrations @ Heartlands
If you did not managed to get tickets, you can still catch the mobile column at five heartland sites on 10 August 2019.
The mobile column will be travelling to Bishan, Geylang Serai, Jurong East, Punggol, and Woodlands, where there will also be carnivals organised by the People’s Association. The one-day celebrations will culminate with dazzling fireworks displays at each of the five sites!
