Beyond the Blue (Trail)

Beyond the activities happening on 5 May, families can also embark on an immersive journey through Singapore's naval heritage at the Singapore Navy Museum Showcase, located at the Expo MRT Station. This unique year-long collaboration between SBS Transit and Defence Collective Singapore brings the maritime defense story to life at the MRT Station, and making accessible to the public.
Families who visit the showcase can also extend their maritime journey with a weekend shuttle bus to the Singapore Navy Museum, where you can further explore our maritime heritage and deepen your appreciation for Singapore's naval legacy.
Key Highlights of the Showcase
- AR Filter and Games: Engage with interactive AR experiences by scanning QR codes placed within the train cabins and at the Expo MRT Station. Participate in naval defense games and capture memorable moments with maritime defenders.
- Navy Museum Themed MRT Station: Experience a thematic transformation of the Expo MRT Station into a navy museum environment, complete with a 3D submarine model and AR elements.
- 3D Submarine Model: Marvel at a meticulously crafted 3D model of a submarine, offering a sneak peek into the captivating artifacts housed at the Singapore Navy Museum. It also serves as a great backdrop for a family photo too!
