One Punggol Chinese New Year 2025 Celebrations

One Punggol integrated hub will usher in the Chinese New Year with exciting festivities!

Welcome the Year of the Snake 2025 with an abundance of exciting family-fun entertainment, including captivating Sichuan ‘Chinese Face Changing’ act and gravity-defying acrobatic performance at One Punggol! 

Games, Activities and Performances

Come enjoy live stage performances, fun-filled interactive games and family-friendly activities to the sounds of drums and flutes! There will also be vibrant Lion and Dragon Dance featuring the ‘cai qing’ ritual for prosperity and thrilling pole-leaping ‘tiao zhuang’, accompanied by rhythmic beats and the majestic dragon symbolizing success and unity this festive season.

This year’s festivities will also feature the magic of Chinese Face Changing act – or ‘bian lian’ – an ancient Sichuan opera art form where performers seamlessly switch between intricate masks in the blink of an eye as well as Chinese acrobatics with gravity-defying stunts and elegant choreography, and melodic music performances from the Singapore Institute of Technology

Young children will enjoy fun-filled CNY-themed bouncy castles, calligraphy craftwork and fan painting workshops, and interactive table-top games.
