Christmas At Orchard Road returns with the annual Light-Up & the return of the Christmas Village with amusement rides, F&B, live music and more!

The Orchard Road light-up returns in 2022 where families can expect a festive-filled Orchard Road with glistening light displays, immersive attractions, pop-up activations and the Great Christmas Village, a fun-filled area with rides, live music, food and a beer garden.
Happening from 12 Nov 2022 till 2 Jan 2023, here’s what you can look forward to over the upcoming holidays.
Christmas Light-up Decorations
The Christmas lights will stretch across 3.1km from Tanglin Road (and ends at Plaza Singapura) where visitors will be greeted by a spectacular teal and white arch when they arrive. The lights which feature mini Ferris wheels and stars alongside 171 lamp posts will be dressed in energy-saving LED white lights to enhance the festive experience.
The main arch at the junction of Orchard Road and Scotts Road will feature Christmas trees decorated with reindeer and baubles on either side. Stroll along the streets and get into the Christmas cheer with popular Christmas tunes playing from Wheelock Place to Mandarin Gallery.
A new feature this year is the lighting up of 104 trees with energy-saving LED white lights. These same lights will later take on pink hues when Orchard Road ushers in Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day in 2023.
3D projections of snowflakes & fireworks will light up Orchard Road

Time: 7 pm - 10 pm nightly
Back by popular demand, families can expect a 10-minute multimedia 3D projection show with AR features on the façade of Mandarin Gallery facing Ngee Ann City. This happens from 7 pm to 10 pm every night. You can also witness the countdown clock for Christmas Day and the New Year's Eve celebrations here too!
The second projection will be on the same building facing the Somerset area, lighting up Orchard Road with a multimedia 3D projection Christmas show features a rotating carousel with galloping horses and an AR firework display.
Great Christmas Village returns with food stalls, carnival rides & music

Great Christmas Village returns to Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza from 7 December 2022 to 2 January 2023.
Families can expect amusement rides, including the first-ever all-white carousel, an Inflatable Bouncer, Samba Balloon, Pirate Ship and Teacups. Those who have more time can register for art workshops ranging from alcohol ink painting, tapestry weaving, clay modelling, and crafting.
Not forgetting the food & drinks too! Expect popular outlets such as VeganBurg, Speciality Thai Grills, Magnum and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, and there will be a beer garden for those who wish to spend more time under the night skies!
Live music performed by local artistes will accompany you every Friday through Sunday, leading up to Christmas day itself!
