We visited the Fire Station Open House a couple of months back (and I think we should go again soon.)
My boy has a fascination over Fireman and Policeman, I suspect its because of Paw Patrol... and for those uninitiated, the Paw Patrol Fireman and Policeman Pups are Marshall and Chase respectively (dishing it out like an expert!).
While my boy's favourite uniform personnel is the Policemen, the Police Heritage Tour is meant for older kids with a more National Education purpose and is not a "play tour" for kids - as I am told when I tried to book a visit.
If you do not know yet, Fire Stations in Singapore are open to the Public every Sat for an open house. If you are visiting, I will recommend the Central Fire Station which has a Fire Station Museum.
As part of the open house, you will get to see a demonstration on fire fighting, get your hands on with the fire hose, board the Fire Engines, touch and play with the fire fighting equipment, and even get to see live action if the station got activated (like we did!)
Overall, it was a very fun experience and very exciting one too. It was the first time I have ever boarded a Fire Engine or even use the water hose. Bring Your Kid Out to the Fire Station Open House and you might get some fun too!
