Playeum's Children's Centre for Creativity will be hosting The Big Draw a special free event for children aged 1 - 12 and their families, this year's festivities at The Big Draw features free exciting activities revolving around the theme of STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.
If you have not visited the current hands-on exhibition 'Hideaways - Creating with Nature', the Children's Centre for Creativity will be opened all day with FREE admission. 'Hideaways - Creating with Nature' invites children to explore, observe, construct, reflect, innovate and engage with nature and natural materials through hands-on exhibits and interactive artists' installations.
Not just the Free admission but other exciting activities will be happening as part of The Big Draw 2016!
Go on an Amazing Shapes Trail and hunt for different shapes around Gillman Barracks. Power Up Gillman with recycled materials and immerse yourself in an environment where paper meets electronics. Create a Puppets theatre to tell your favourite story. Contribute individual ideas to create a group story, then fabricate puppet actors, and learn to animate in Tell A Story Through Stop Motion Animation!
