For all art enthusiasts, it’s your time to shine! Immerse yourself in Singapore's vibrant arts scene with Sketch Up 2024, the first-ever rain or shine, outdoor mass-sketching event in the Civic District organised by Arts House Limited.

Capture the stunning beauty of the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall and create your masterpiece in this historic venue as we celebrate an iconic landmark of Singapore's history.

About Sketch Up 2024

Supported by programme partner, Art Apart, Sketch Up 2024 invites artists and art enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds to capture the historical and architectural charm of the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall in their own way. 

If you are keen to participate, please bring your own sketching materials & tools for the event, including digital tools if preferred. For children aged 4 to 12, colouring sheets and pencils will be provided.

This inaugural event will also feature respected urban landscape painter, Chankerk Teh, and artists from Urban Sketchers Singapore, a passionate community dedicated to on-location sketching. Get ready to be inspired by their expertise and drown yourself in the excitement of this remarkable celebration of creativity!

After completing your sketch, be sure to submit your masterpiece to be displayed as part of a digital showcase on the Civic District website, ensuring it has a lasting digital presence and becomes more memorable. Later on, viewers can appreciate the various artistic interpretations of the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall on the Civic District website and vote for their favourite pieces.

The artist with the highest number of votes will receive a Huion Kamvas 13 Drawing Pad Tablet and Pen Display (valued at $239), plus a Brasserie Astoria dining voucher (valued at $100).

Two lucky voters will also stand to win a Brasserie Astoria dining voucher (valued at $100) each!
