Singapore's Bayfront Event Space will be illuminated by illumi, the world's largest light, sound and multimedia event this September! Featuring installations with over 20 million LED lights, this will be illumi's international debut outside of Canada.
Created by Normand Latourelle, a celebrated figure in the performing arts and co-founder of Cirque du Soleil, illumi promises an extraordinary experience for visitors of all ages.
Explore Nine Spectacular Worlds
The multimedia light show first debuted in Montreal, Canada, back in 2019. In Singapore’s edition, visitors are invited to explore nine themed worlds, featuring the world’s tallest illuminated tree titled ‘Tree of Lights’ that stands at 47 metres, a dazzling Carousel, and nine different segments filled with lifelike animatronics and thousands of installations lit up with a whopping 20 million LED lights.
1. The Magical Forest
Step into a realm of glowing trees in every hue, home to whimsical creatures such as giant snails and flying squirrels.
2. The Infinite Pole
Discover an icy wonderland complete with shimmering igloos, stalagmites, and playful penguins.
3. Dune Palace
Experience a desert fantasy featuring mystical genies, camels, and flying carpets in a magical oasis.
4. The Tunnel Of Colours
Traverse through a dazzling kaleidoscopic corridor that delights with vibrant, ever-changing lights.
5. The Illumi Tree And Its Carousel
Marvel at a towering 47-metre Tree of Lights, adorned with 50,000 luminous spheres and 190,000 LEDs, and enjoy a whimsical carousel.
6. Jurassic Kingdom
Walk among life-sized dinosaurs in a prehistoric park that brings these ancient giants back to life.
7. The Enchanted Maples
Relish in a homage to Canadian culture with vibrant maple leaves and folk music, and savour traditional Canadian treats.
8. Walls Of Lights
Be mesmerised by shimmering crystal curtains in a frozen wonderland of light.
9. Puppies And Kitties
Delight in an illuminated pet paradise where giant, friendly cats and dogs invite you to play.
Event Details
illumi will be happening at Bayfront Event Space, 12A Bayfront Avenue, Singapore from 13 Sep 2024. Time slots run at 15-minute intervals from 7.15 to 9.30pm.
