Dive into the ultimate tabletop gaming experience this June as organisers of the inaugural TableCon Quest updated with an exciting lineup of programs, demos and activities for players of all ages and interests.

Get First-Hand Experience Of The Full ULTRAMAN CARD GAME & More!

Venue: Booth A2

Following Tsuburaya Productions’ announcements on the global launch of ULTRAMAN CARD GAME in Summer 2024, fans in Singapore will be able to experience the full game first hand at TableCon Quest. Players who learn the game at the booth will each receive a set of 2 demo decks that can be combined into a full deck for free, as well as an exclusive promotional card for the game.

    Shadowverse Evolve: Gloryfinder Game Highlights

    TableCon Quest 2024 will be the first convention where players can try a demo workshop for the Shadowverse Evolve: Gloryfinder format. Japanese trading card game lovers can also look forward to demos, workshops and event exclusive cards from Bushiroad. Exclusive TableCon Quest 2024 promotional cards for Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiß Schwarz will also be available only at the event.

    Showcase by Origame

    Venue: Booth B1

    On the local front, Origame will present two of their latest games - Chock-A-Block, in which players build colourful apartment (HDB) blocks bursting with life; and CubeMelt: Getting Dicey, a unique dice game in which players live like an ice cube, experiencing as much love and adventure as they can before they or their fellow players melt.

    Fans can also check out the full Origame catalogue as well as games from Oink Games, Saashi and Saashi, EmperorS4, Taiwan Boardgame Design and more.

    Showcase by Indie Game Studios

    The Indie Zone will showcase the latest Made-in-Singapore tabletop games from six Indie Game Studios and Developers. Attendees can try demos of the various games on site and buy copies for home or friends.

    Isekai The Board Game (Indie Booth ID8), a successful Kickstarter project, will also be showcased alongside games from Good Spirit Games (Indie Booth ID3), Centrefire Hobbies (Indie Booth ID11), Boardverse (Indie Booth ID9) and Capital Gains Studio (Indie Booth ID4), which is renowned for its family-friendly games and award-winning finance-themed games. Capital Gains Studio also provides gamification consulting services, recent projects include a studio game with Channel News Asia and a tabletop game with Prudential.

    HAMMER FEST X TableCon Quest Activities

    Popular local miniature hobbyist and games store HammerHouse joins forces with TableCon Quest to hold HAMMER FEST at the event grounds. Newcomers and seasoned hobbyists alike can gear up for a weekend of miniature artistry. Attendees can paint a free miniature, preview miniatures from popular games such as Warhammer and Marvel: Crisis Protocol, and try their hands at a quick game demo.

    Open Play Areas, Game Library & Game Demos

    Players can bring their own games to play with friends at any free tables at the Open Play Area, or to meet new people to play together. They can also borrow a variety of board games from the Game Library, a collaboration with community group #laiplayleow to explore new adventures. Game demos of boardgames, miniature games, and tabletop role-playing games will also be available for people to try out or to watch the games in action.

    Other activities include workshops to assemble model kits, Dungeons & Dragons beginner play sessions, as well as miniature painting of TableCon Quest’s Cat Mascot. Advance sign-ups for the sessions are available at the official website.

    Singapore Games Association (SGGA) Annual Industry Day

    Singapore’s primary trade association for the gaming and esports industry, Singapore Games Association (SGGA), will hold its annual Industry Day in TableCon Quest. The SGGA Industry Day aims to bridge the gap between students and those looking for a career in the games industry, and Singapore based game development companies, with the goal to inspire Singapore-based talents to explore a career in the industry.

    This edition will see a showcase of 9 student game projects, shortlisted from Institutes of Higher Learning, for attendees to check out. Singapore-based indie game developer TrueWorld Studios will also showcase its soon-to-be-released roguelite First-Person Shooter (FPS) UNYIELDER - their first in-house IP PC game. Attendees can also learn more about the process, opportunities and challenges of creating games in Singapore, from turning inspiration into actual game design to the operational considerations of running a games company, through panel discussions and talks by industry veterans on stage.

      Special Guest Appearances

      Satoshi Nakamura

      Satoshi Nakamura is a game designer who founded Yuhodo Ltd, a company that designs and develops trading card games. Satoshi Nakamura, who is also a famous player of the world-renowned TCG Magic: The Gathering, set up Yuhodo in 2001 to create an ideal card game, and has been working with Kidani, the creator of Weiß Schwarz, on TCG development since before Bushiroad was founded.

      Eiji Shishido

      Eiji Shishido is a seasoned veteran of the trading card game (TCG) industry with over a decade of experience. As the founder and driving force behind his own TCG company, he successfully grew it into a globally recognized brand. Eiji Shishido possesses comprehensive expertise in all aspects of trading card games, from development to organised play. Currently, he serves as the General Producer for the Ultraman Card Game, where he continues to innovate and lead in the TCG arena.

      Daryl Chow

      Daryl Chow is a globally acclaimed and award-winning board game designer whose games are played and sold all over the world in many languages. Some of his notable works include Overbooked (Netherlands), The Artemis Project (USA), Remember Our Trip (Japan and Germany) and Buffet Boss and Plantopia (Singapore). Through his design studio Origame, he creates games that are innovative but which also tell stories about Singaporean and Asian culture. Origame also hosts the most international board game event in Asia, the Asian Board Games Festival. Daryl also collaborates with brands to create custom games such as Eu Yan Sang’s Master Sinseh card game.

      Ticketing Details

      Tickets are priced at S$12 per day, with a special discount of 50% for students who email in their student details. A VIP ticket tier is available as well which includes 2 days entry to the event, library sessions and a goodie bag of exclusive merchandise.

      On Sunday, kids 12 years old and below will get free entry, and will need to show proof of age at the door.
