Here's a list of weekly family fun events and experiences for you to create family fun this week!

Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! There are a couple of free activities happening in the malls around Singapore, some exciting family-friendly arts programmes by Little SIFA, as well as a free outdoor playground to explore! So read on and get ready to head out for more family fun!

1. SIFA Presents: Little SIFA 2024

Made for young audiences and the young at heart, Little SIFA will introduce Festivalgoers to the vast world of the performing arts through a special series of family-friendly programmes, such as, The Dancer’s Fair, Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster and the Binder Animation Workshop with Manual Cinema!.

2. Finest Experience Hunt at the Finest Festival 2024

Venue: 23 Participating FairPrice Finest
Dates: 16 - 29 May 2024
Admission: Free

As part of Finest Festival, the Finest Experience Hunt is an interactive in-store game designed to enhance customers’ in-store shopping experience while discovering what’s in store.

Happening at 23 participating FairPrice Finest, customers must successfully complete all eight game station markers and purchase any Finest Festival promotional item to claim a same-day use return voucher worth $5, redeemable with a minimum spend of $50 (vouchers are limited daily, and redemption is while stocks last).

Customers who successfully complete the Finest Experience Hunt will qualify for entry into a lucky draw, featuring three top prizes which are $300, $200, $100 worth of FairPrice Group gift vouchers, respectively.

3. Nostalgic Adventure at Forum the Shopping Mall

Calling all families! Step into a world of nostalgia and fun at Nostalgic Adventures, happening from the 10 to 19 May 2024 at Forum The Shopping Mall! Expect an adventure filled with laughter, love and the timeless allure of nostalgia! 

Nostalgic Adventures promises an unforgettable experience for families a variety of activities including the Colouring Wall, retro-themed Photobooth, various Kids Workshops, and meet & greet sessions with Otah the Otter, Ang Ku Kueh Girl, and Xiao Pang Ge Ge! 

Families who shop at the mall will also stand a chance to win exclusive merchandise and more from the Sure-win Gashapon, including travel luggage, tote bag and more! 

4. Last Weekend To Meet with Bluey and Bingo!

Fans of the popular series, Bluey, this is the final weekend to meet your favourite characters Bluey and Bingo in person in Singapore! They will be making special appearances at the following Kiddy Palace outlets:

  • 18 May: Compass One (2.30 pm) & NEX (5.30 pm)
  • 19 May: West Gate (2.30 pm) & Century Square (5.30 pm)

*Each meet & greet session is for 30mins.

5. Sengkang West Way Free Outdoor Playground

Venue: Between 459 and 461 Sengkang West Way 
Admission: Free

This free outdoor play area at 459 / 461 Sengkang West Way features different play zones that are within walking distance of each other, and with different play structures for children of different ages!

There's a treehouse play structure, where children can make use of the various climbing structures to make their way on to the the tree house, this includes a wiggly plank ladder, a "C" shaped net climber and steps.

Beside the Treehouse structure, families will find a swing set that has four individual swings, and next to it is a multi-user swing and an inclusive sensory wall that is designed to foster cognitive and motor skill development.

Another 2 play zones located near to the multi-storey carpark is designed for toddlers and preschoolers. The structures are lower and allows the little ones to easily move around while giving parents and caregivers space to watch them too. 

Around the play zones are a fitness corner for adults, a basketball court and there are also lots of sheltered rest areas for families to take a break in too!
