Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! As we step into the March school holidays, this week's list of to-dos include a number of festival and events, including the chance to visit the Singapore Aviation Academy, a cultural heritage festival at Chinatown, and more!

1. Take Part in HPB’s Your Child’s First Influencer Activity Booths

- 16 March 2024: Tampines Regional Library, 10 am - 6 pm

Head down to the Health Promotion Board’s "Your Child’s First Influencer" activity booths happening at the Central Public Library and Tampines Regional Library, and be inspired and guided on how to nurture healthier habits in your children.
At these events, families can also take part in fun-filled activities, make the Healthier Pledge and take home an activity kit for a great family bonding time! So come embark on this exciting journey and make a positive impact on your child's life.

2. Join the Aquatic Fun at SAFRA Tampines FUNquatics 2024
Venue: SAFRA Tampines, Swimming Pool
Dates: 9 Mar 2024, 9 am - 3 pm
Admission: Free
Head down to SAFRA Tampines on Saturday, 9 March 2024, from 9 am to 3 pm, for a thrilling aquatic experience at the FUNquatics 2024. Immerse yourself in a day filled with free aquatics trials, an inflatable bouncy castle, and delectable food booths during lunchtime.

3. Discover, Experience and Play at the Singapore Aviation Academy Open House

Mark your calendars for the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) Open House, a free admission event organised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) offering a unique opportunity for families to discover the exciting future of aviation training, learn more about careers in aviation and simply to have a day of aviation-themed family fun!
Key Highlights:
- Discover: Learn about the rich history of SAA as a pioneer in aviation training and the new plans for SAA 2026, through an exhibition of SAA’s past, present, and future, and a model of the new SAA. You will also get to interact with air traffic controllers and airport fire-fighters, uncovering the secrets of their training and careers.
- Experience: Before the academy temporarily closes its doors until 2026, seize this chance to experience the SAA like never before. Go on free guided experiences offering a sneak peek into the rigorous training for air traffic controllers and airport fire-fighters.
- Guided Experience: Air Traffic Control Simulators: You will get to step into Air Traffic Control Simulators and immerse yourselves in the world of an Air Traffic Controller.
- Guided Experience: Airport Fire-fighting Activities: Take part in hands-on activities and simulators that emulate parts of the training to be an Airport Fire Fighter.

- Play: The SAA Open House promises a day filled with family-friendly activities suitable for all ages. Come enjoy fun and interactive games and activities at the Children’s Activity Corner, where children can take part in the Air Traffic Control Plane Landing Challenge, and build a LEGO Fire Engine to see if it can withstand a test drive on the ramp!

4. Go on a Heritage Adventure at The Five Footway Festival
Venue: Chinatown, including Smith Street, Pagoda Street
Dates: 9 to 17 Mar 2024, 11 am - 9.30 pm
Admission: Free with paid workshops
The Five Footway Festival is returning to Chinatown Singapore from 9 to 17 Mar 2024, featuring many enjoyable and engaging activities suitable for visitors of all ages.
At the festival, families will gain a deeper understanding of Singapore’s largest conservation district, life along the Five Footway, clans and associations, as well as the traditional trades of Chinatown. There will be immersive tours, a chance to catch and experience traditional performances, try heritage flavours and to step back into our nostalgic childhood.
Admission is free with ticketed workshops, so do head down for a fun-filled and heritage learning experience!
5. Shop, Play and Have Fun at the Not So Little Fair
