Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! This week, we highlight the Deepavali activities happening for the long weekend, the return of the whimsical Christmas Wonderland from December and new festive happenings that are popping up for the year-end holidays!

1. Deepavali Celebrations
Deepavali falls on Sun, 12 Nov 2023, with the following Mon a holiday. From visiting the Little India festive light-up to family-friendly activities to celebrate and learn more about the festival, there are many events happening to celebrate the Festival of Lights. Let's us highlight a couple that you can take part in this weekend!
- Little India Festive Light-up: The annual Deepavali Light Up is a vibrant and culturally significant ceremony that heralds the arrival of the Deepavali season. It is renowned for embellishing prominent buildings and streets with resplendent lights and intricate decorations, crafting a mesmerizing spectacle.
- Indian Heritage Centre Deepavali Open House: Experience the exuberance of the festival at the Indian Heritage Centre (IHC) Deepavali Open House 2023! Come immerse in the festive atmosphere and rich traditions of Deepavali across four themes, featuring a diverse range of cultural programmes, performances, workshops and more.
- Rangoli and Rhythm at Singapore Sports Hub: Embark on a multi-sensory journey at Singapore Sports Hub with its Rangoli & Rhythm celebration. Join in the celebrations at the OCBC Square on 10 to 11 November 2023, it will be a weekend of captivating activities that will evoke your five senses and offer experiences to remember!

Carnival Fun at the Asian Canoe Polo Championship
Venue: Bayfront Event Space, 12A Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018970

Organized by Singapore Canoe Federation, the Asian Canoe Polo Championships (ACPC) is set to take place from 9 to 12 November 2023 at the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade and will feature an exciting carnival, making it an engaging and fun-filled day for young and old alike.
Event admission to the carnival and matches are free, with fun games and delicious food and drinks available for purchase on-site!
Immerse Yourselves in the Chinese Singaporean Culture at RE.MIX 2023

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC)’s highly anticipated youth festival, RE•MIX 2K23, is back for its fourth edition from 5 to 19 Nov! RE•MIX 2K23 offers many activities for you to immerse yourselves in Chinese Singaporean art and culture including workshops, busking performances, exhibitions, escape game, bazaars and many more!

Kiztopia is back with 2 massively fun events for the year-end school holidays! The Jumptopia Playful Wonders at Marina Bay Sands will be a large-scale end-of-year event that combines bouncy castles, children's go-karts, food and art. Ring in the festive cheer this December as Christmas Wonderland celebrates a decade of wonder as it returns to Gardens by the Bay from 1 Dec 2023 to 1 Jan 2024! The 10th edition of Singapore’s biggest (and in our opinion, best) yuletide fair features a supersized fairground with a sensational array of light displays, new carnival rides and more festive activities.
This year’s enlarged fairground comprises three magical zones: Supertree Grove, Frosty’s Fairground at The Meadow, and Gingerbread Grove for families to admire 13 stunning light displays, soak in the holiday cheer with a multi-sensory experience complete with ‘snow’ in the tropics, hop onto new carnival rides, have a go at carnival games, meet Santa Claus, dine on festive fare, catch live performances by local artistes and lots more!
