Happening on the 12th of November @ the Botanical Gardens is the outdoor screening of an animated film - Raven the Little Rascal, in conjunction with the 20th German Film Festival 2016 and presented by the Goethe Institute and the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Winner of the Best Foreign Animated Feature at the Sichuan TV Festival, the movie is screened with English Dialogue and is free for all!
3 Reasons that I wanted to share this
- Its an outdoor screening... and every Kid loves watching a movie outdoors! Bring a ball, frisbee or something to let them run about before, after and even during the screening!
- And for me, it means Picnic time! If you been reading BYKidO long enough, you know that I am usually excited about the endless possibilities of picnics - pack it light or go full fledged extravagant!
- It's not your usual film, the last few Outdoor Screening had the same theme (either Minions or Kungfu Panda), which is fine but a change might be interesting for both Kid and Adult!
Movie Synopsis:
When Raven accidentally damages the forest dam, there emerges the danger of a flood that threatens to destroy the whole village! Raven gets an idea to find the beavers who built the dam in the first place and an adventure quickly ensues. In order to embark on this adventure, Raven will have to muster the courage to handle the many challenges along the way. It is an enthralling story of the power of good friendships and compassion for others.
So Bring Your Kid Out to the Singapore Botanic Gardens this Saturday to enjoy the Outdoor Screening, Picnic and a different film!
