Angkor: Exploring Cambodia’s Sacred City. Masterpieces of the Musee national des arts asiatiques-Guimet

What is happening?

Those who set their eyes upon Angkor are sure to be stunned by its unearthly visuals. While the city was not abandoned, it largely remained hidden from world view until late 19th century.

Angkor: Exploring Cambodia’s Sacred City. Masterpieces of the Musee national des arts asiatiques-Guimet at the Asian Civilisations Museums brings you on a tour of rare Khmer sculptures, French drawings, photographs and memorabilia via their exhibition which eventually caused the city of Angkor to be a popular tourist destination.

The exhibition is part of the on-going Voilah! French Festival Singapore 2018. Read our article for other child friendly activities happening as part of the festival!

To further appreciate the exhibition, join the curator’s tour to hear behind-the-scene stories about the exhibition.
