Saturdays@ACM is a family-friendly event held on the last Saturday of every month, featuring different themes each time and this month, Saturdays@ACM happens to fall on Deepavali eve. Drop in with your little ones to catch an interactive drama performance based on a Hindu mythology of how good triumphs evil and find out why lamps are lit on this festival of lights. Thereâs will also be a craft activity where youâll get to make and bring home your very own candleholder!

The ArtScience Museum has a new resident, Disney: Magic of Animation. Featuring over 500 art pieces, ranging from original drawings, paintings and sketches to concept art, the exhibit provides a look behind the scenes of your favorite films and characters like Mickey Mouse, Lion King and Frozen.

This long weekend is your last chance to admire the big, bright and beautiful rhododendrons at Gardens by the Bayâs Rhododendron Radiance. With over 80 varieties in white, yellow, orange and red colors blooming around the conservatory, it is quite a sight to behold. If youâre a little reluctant about visiting the same old place over and over again, donât worry, thereâs something else to do at both Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park, aside from visiting our wild friends.
Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park will be featuring an interactive art installation, Shore Debris Table, where youâll get to pick really tiny plastic particles through the sand and use them to create artworks. Fight the Deadliest Monster, which will also feature an activity station and animal shows, is part of the parksâ efforts to spread awareness on plastic pollution. Also, why not make use of the âkids enter freeâ while it lasts (which is until the end of this month)!
8. Learn About Traditional Indian Practices at GBB!

Swing by the Colonnade at the Gardens by the Bay over the weekend if youâre interested in learning more about the various traditional Indian practices, from traditional crafts and trades to games, in Singapore. Youâll be able to observe the practices across the years and how theyâve evolved through interactive games and crafts at the Indian Heritage Centreâs travelling exhibit which will be at the Colonnade.
9. Visit the Istana Open House!

The Istana will open to the public for the last time this year and if you missed it youâll have to wait until next year February. You can look forward to live performances, paid tours of the main building and Nature Guided Walk, Food & Beverage and retail stores (including Udders Ice Cream Booth), balloon sculpting, and face painting. Aside from that there will also be a display of reptiles by the Wildlife Reserves of Singapore.
