1. Embark on an Adventure with The Little Tailor Boy!

The little tailor boy has accepted the Kind’s challenge to hunt a boar, capture a unicorn and slay a giant, for the very sumptuous reward—an endless supply of food!
The Little Tailor Boy is an interactive storytelling session with fun arts and crafts.

2. Go Green at the Lifestyle & Eco Carnival 2019!

The Lifestyle & Eco Carnival celebrates the launch of JTC’s Greening Our Workplace @ Seletar Aerospace Park initiative.
You can shop for goodies to supplement your green lifestyle at the striking colonial bungalows which will be housing over 50 pop-up stalls offering eco-friendly lifestyle products and plants. You can also expect hands-on upcycling workshops, activities for kids, food trucks, and even free popcorn and candy floss (while stocks last)! Â

3. Let Your LOs Imagination Take Flight at ACT 3 Academy’s Stars and Planets!

ACT 3 Academy has a line-up of programs this Children’s Day that will fascinate little ones, stimulate their imagination and bring them on little fantastical adventures!
Stardust is a 2-hour drama workshop that’ll have little ones striving to reach for the stars by overcoming a series of ‘hurdles’ such as climbing trees and searching for that rainbow. It is suitable for kids from 3 to 4 years old. For kids from 5 to 7 years old, there is A Planetary Flight of Fancy, where they’ll get to meet vigilant Mercurians, cool Venusians and rusty Martians, in a trip of a lifetime.
Aside from the drama workshops, there is also a gelato-making workshop and a performance inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince.

7. Join in the Fun at Octoburst!

This year’s ‘Octoburst!’, an annual children’s festival is all about fun, friendship and imagination! It’s packed with an array of gripping performances and fun activities.
Sing-a-long, Move-a-long, and Jam-a-long to a live performance by professional musicians, featuring an array of diverse instruments, have fun with a variety of percussion instruments, and find out What Simon Didn’t Say! Â
You can also go on an adventurous journey across the sea with Cerita Anak, an interactive theatre performance or take to the skies with A Ladder to the Stars, a magical story that starts with a little girl’s wish to dance with the stars. These are just some of the programs in the festival’s line-up.

9. Fight The Deadliest Monster at Wildlife Reserves Singapore Parks!

Did you know that over a million animals are killed every year due to plastic waste?
Fight the Deadliest Monster—plastic—is a great way to teach little ones the importance of binning trash right and the harmful impacts of plastic waste on wild habitats.
Shore Debris Table, an interactive art installation featured by Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park, in collaboration with local artist Ernest Goh from the Ayer Ayer Project, shows where plastic waste ends up. On the debris table, visitors can pick plastic pieces through real sand collected from Singapore’s beaches and use it to create an impactful card.
You can also participate in Recycle Racers, where you have to race with your family to sort common household trash into the right bins and save wildlife.
