As the National Day is just a week ahead, let’s embrace the Singapore spirit with UNWIND @ Raffles Place and spend your Saturday evening happily. The event will be held at the heart of the Central Business District on 3 August 2024.
What to Expect at the Event
UNWIND @ Raffles Place will be a nostalgic event packed with various activities for all ages, perfect for family time. While the kids have fun in the play area, you can increase the competitiveness among your friends by doing a challenge in the classic lawn games such as badminton, giant jenga, or mini golf.
For parents, bring back your childhood memories with traditional games like chapteh and five stones, as a series of live music performances by local artists playing in the background, elevating the atmosphere into the evening.
Before the sun sets and the movie screening starts, let’s take a moment to stroll around Raffles Place precinct with a fun community bike tour.
Cycle through the Heart of the City with Wild Pearl’s Community Bike Tour
From 4 PM to 5 PM, let’s explore Singapore’s Central Buzz District with Wild Pearl’s innovative community bike experience. The tour will be led by a custom cargo bike equipped with a solar-powered sound system and a unique seated DJ booth, offering a fun and fresh way to explore Raffles Place.
Worry not— the DJ booth will also blast curated tunes while you’re riding the bike through the district to make it more enjoyable and exciting! To participate in this bike tour, the bikes will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternatively, you can bring your own bike to the meeting point to join the ride.
Dive into Singapore’s Heritage with Games and Workshops by PLAY!
It’s time to introduce the kids to the richness of Singapore’s culture and heritage. From 4 – 9 PM, the park will turn into a nostalgic playground where little ones can get to know more and experience the fun of traditional local games such as chapteh, five stones, pick-up sticks, card games, and tops.
Boost your creativity and let your imagination run wild in a free-play creative workshop by creating your own postcard about the beauty of Raffles Place. The craft materials can be found on the tables with some printed sheets of iconic Singapore motifs, like HDB flats for inspiration.
Participate in the Lawn Games and Win Exclusive Vouchers
Gather your friends and family from 4 to 9 PM to enjoy the variety of lawn games such as table tennis, giant jenga, badminton, cornhole, and putting green. Not only can parents reminisce about their childhood, but it is also a chance for kids to engage in traditional games!

Begin with the soulful melodies of Shak’s solo acoustic set at 4 PM, followed by Dita and her guitarist at 4:45 PM, who are sure to deliver captivating performances blending soul and rhythm.
At 5:45 PM, Mars B and the band will energize the crowd with their vibrant melodies, before the evening wraps up with a captivating performance by Hanging Up The Moon x Leslie Low at 8:20 PM. To end the day, let’s sit down and relax in CHUMs’ comfortable camping chairs for an outdoor moving screening at 6:30 PM. Watch as koala Buster Moon and his all-star cast of animal friends prepare for a dazzling musical extravaganza in Sing 2, filled with catchy musical numbers!
