Wild Wild Wet’s well-loved Songkran music festival is not happening this year but don’t let that get you down because the water park is bringing you an all-new month-long festival experience!
Songkran is the traditional Thai New Year festival, which falls on 13 Apr and the holiday period extends till 15 Apr.
For the first time, the re-imagined Songkran Water Fest 2021 at Wild Wild Wet will showcase a new look, interactive activities and brand new vibe that both the young-at-heart and young can enjoy together!
Daily Water Gun Battle
Every day from 3 pm to 5 pm roving talents with water gun backpacks will be engaging with guests in a water “fight”! So be sure to arm yourself with your weapon of choice – super soakers, squirt guns or water blasters – and join in the fray. Of course, you won’t just be squirting water at other humans. There will be spinning target boards at Shiok River for you to test the accuracy of your aim!
This year’s Songkran Water Fest is special because it’s kid-friendly. Not only will there be adorable 2-D Thai-themed figurines that will set foot in the shallow waters of the Professor’s Playground attraction, but there will also be water guns available for them!
At Shiok River, 50 water guns will be distributed to guests at the entry point and collected at the exit point. There is a maximum limit of 50 pax at Shiok River and Professor’s Playground, respectively.
Visual & Audio Experience and Life-sized Installations
Moreover at Shiok River, you can feast your eyes on the delightful series of Thai décor. Expect a curated playlist of uplifting and catchy electronic dance music being played throughout the water park as you practice your shots on the spinning targets and enjoy a leisurely cruise along the “river”.
Also making an appearance in the water park is a real tuk-tuk as well as a 6 ft-tall super soaker that is bound to provide a memorable backdrop to the 2021 festival.
Songkran Water Fest 2021 Ticketing
For the month of the Songkran Water Fest 2021, Wild Wild Wet is offering weekday passes (excluding public holidays) at $20 per adult. The Day Pass comes with a $5 Ola Beach Club Voucher, which you can use to indulge in delights like Thai Iced Tea, Tiki drinks, and Huli Huli Chicken, among others.
The weekday Day Pass is priced at $18 for children (3 – 12 years) and senior citizens (55 years and above) while the weekend Day Pass is priced at $32 per adult and $24 for children and senior citizens. Toddlers below 3 enjoy free admission on both weekdays and weekends. No separate fee is required to join the festival. You can purchase your tickets online at Wild Wild Wet.
