Do you love cooking?

Well, I do love cooking but the amount of behind-the-scene work that goes in even for a simple dish. There’s grocery shopping, then having to stand over the heat in the already hot weather, making sure the dish doesn’t get burnt and the cleaning up after. Oh, the cleaning after! Tiresome.

1. Crystal Jade

Chili crab bao, salted-egg custard bao, black truffle bao, lotus paste bao, animal shaped buns, ahhh, among all the mouth-watering delicacies served at the various Crystal Jade restaurants, their baos and dumplings are the first thing that comes to my mind.

Aside from the usual Chinese cuisine, Crystal Jade restaurant is also offering up a special Parent’s Day Set Menu in celebration of both Mother’s Day and the upcoming Father’s Day.

If you’ve never come across KOMYUNITI before, it’s no surprise for this restaurant-bar is hidden away on the tenth floor of YOTEL Singapore.

KOMYUNITI’s casual and open dining ambience coupled with a simple but varied menu, makes it ideal for a laid-back lunch. And if want a little more punch to your lunch, they also serve up some interesting concoctions of cocktails that you can try out.

This Mother’s Day, KOMYUNITI is serving up an array of very palatable nosh, such as Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese, Roasted Beef Skewers, Coconut Panna Cotta in Shooters, and Tiramisu. We hear there’s even going to be a live Waffle Station.

Forget about flowers on your latte, at KOMYUNITI you can get mum’s printed on your latte! Palatable food and aromatic cuppa aside, mummies will also get a personalised bouquet from the Flower Bar.
