McDonald's Singapore Launches New Happy Meal Books!

From 22 April 2021, McDonald's Singapore is launching a new exclusive 12-book series, The Tiny Detectives, as part of it's Happy Meal Readers Programme that is available with every Happy Meal purchased at all restaurants and through McDelivery.

McDonald's Singapore has been offering parents and children the option of a toy or a book since 2019. As part of it's commitment to providing meaningful and feel-good family experiences, the Happy Meal Readers Programme aims to instil a lifelong passion for reading in children and to encourage family time. 

If you were a fan of the previous book series, you will be please to know that McDonald's will be launching it's 3rd Happy Meal Readers series, The Tiny Detectives, from 22 Apr 2021!

What To Expect In The Series?

Following the popularity of the first 2 series, the 3rd series will also be written by Cressida Cowell, the author of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’. 

The Tiny Detectives takes readers along the curious adventures of a fun-size family as they dive into books and play detective to uncover answers to the big, "curious" questions that they have about the world - such as can trees talk to one another, what lies at the bottom of the ocean and why stars twinkle.

You can also expect more fun in the the new 2021 series as it comes with supplementary inserts that includes reading tips for parents, a story starter, and activity sheets such as “Search and Find” and “Spot the Difference” to further engage the children in family storytelling sessions! 

Where To Get The Series? 

The first book from The Tiny Detective series will explore if trees can “talk” like humans. You will be able to get your hands on this new book with every Happy Meal purchased at McDonald’s restaurants and via McDelivery.
