Technology has allowed us to do things we normally cannot, and now with Google, you can interact with your favourite animal through augmented reality!Â
You may have already seen it on social media or on your mobile phone, but if you have not, this is a treat for families to learn about animals while staying at home!Â
Through the use of Augmented Reality and a simple search on Google, you can now have a fun way to interact with your favourite animal!Â
How do I see 3D Animals on Google?Â
Simply do a search on Google on your iPhone or Android device, for example: "lion" and underneath the results, you will see a little box "View in 3D". Click on it, and click on "view in your space" to place the lion in the middle of your room!Â
You will have to allow access for Google to place the animal in your space.

Why can't I see it?Â
Chances are it is a compatibility issue. In order to access this feature, your device will need to be AR enabled and requires an AR core.Â
For Android users, Google requires an operating system of Android 7.0 or later, originally shipped with the Google Play store already installed, and internet access.
For iPhone users, you need to be running iOS 11.0 or later. You’ll likely already be running iOS 11.0 or later, but if you’re not sure, simply head to your settings > general and then tap software update.
If there is a software update available, hit download and install. Unfortunately if it still does not show, it's probably because your phone does not support it.Â
