In celebration of Chinese New Year, BBC Earth presents a series of special titles which will bring you across China's tradition, culture, landscape and history.

Anchoring a series of specially curated titles for the Lunar New Year on BBC Earth is One Cup, A Thousand Stories. Indulge in the immersive, beautifully filmed story of the drink that changed the world – tea. As one of China's greatest contributions to human civilisation, it has conquered the world to influence cultures, beliefs and behaviours across the globe in surprising ways and is now playing a major role in forging a more sustainable future.

This stunning landmark series tells the story of tea on an unprecedented scale, revealing the extraordinary landscapes of tea, from high mountains to wild coasts.

Follow the people of China over a year in Through the Seasons: China as the seasons change, and festivals brighten the calendar. Meet farmers and engineers, conservationists and craftsmen, scientists and creative people of all kinds who have built distinctive agriculture, ways of life, crafts and culture around the opportunities and challenges of this landscape. Discover this huge and varied country in spectacular drone footage, as traditions, landscape and ways of life are fully revealed from the air.

In The Story of China, follow historian Michael Wood as he meets people from all walks of life, explores ancient cities and traces some of the great moments in Chinese history - from their extraordinary voyages of exploration to their amazing scientific inventions.

Journey through the breathtaking landscape of China, from the Himalayas to the barren steppe, the sub-arctic to the tropical islands, and discover the cultural diversity of China and the mysterious, beautiful, wild and rare creatures which live here in Wild China.

From its traditions and culture to splendour and scale of China’s natural landscapes, there’s also much to learn about the different sides to this festival in each episode of Chinese New Year: The Biggest Celebration On Earth.
