80g Butter

40g Fine sugar

40g Brown sugar

1 Egg

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 â…“ cup Plain flour / all purpose flour

½ tsp Baking soda

Pinch of salt

80g Chocolate chips

Macadamia nuts
-
Cranberry (dried or fresh)

Marshmallows
Garnish (Optional)
Directions
Place unsalted butter in the pan and melt over low heat for a few seconds. Remove from heat and mix until smooth.
Stir in fine sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter.
Add egg and vanilla extract into the mixture. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix these well and add them into the previous mixture.
Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the mixture into a small pot.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
Serve your chocolate chip cookie warm with vanilla ice cream.
Tips
To garnish with nuts or cranberries, sprinkle them on the dough before placing the mixture in the oven. For marshmallows, add them at the end and put the dough back into the oven for another 5 minutes. Keep an eye on the marshmallows to prevent them from being burnt.
