Day 4: Returning to Perth
Day four is reserved for the drive back to Perth (approximately 3 hours). Once back, check into your accommodation in the city and spend the evening at leisure, enjoying a meal or exploring local spots nearby.
Day 5: Wildlife Encounters at Caversham Wildlife Park
Caversham Wildlife Park is a must-visit for families. Located within Whiteman Park, this park allows kids to get up close with Australia’s unique wildlife. Highlights include feeding kangaroos, meeting wombats, and getting a close look at koalas.Â
Pro Tip: Look out for wild kangaroos on your way to the park – they often make appearances along the roadside at dawn and dusk.

Day 6: A Day in Fremantle
Wrap up your trip with a day in the vibrant port city of Fremantle. Visit the Fremantle Markets for some local treats and unique souvenirs, then head to the Round House, Perth’s oldest building, where kids can imagine life as it was in the 1800s.
A stop at the Shipwrecks Museum is also a must – this renowned museum offers fascinating exhibits on Australia’s maritime history, letting kids feel like mini pirates exploring the seas. The best part is that all these are free to visit!Â
