Inspired by Winnie-the-Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood, Bidadari Park offers diverse features at every turn, including hilly landscapes, woodlands, marshlands, and more!

Bidadari Park, a newly opened gem in the heart of Singapore, offers a blend of natural beauty and thoughtful design. The park features a diverse range of landscapes, from lush marshlands to scenic hillocks, all while preserving the area's wooded, rustic charm. With its carefully curated plantings, dedicated birdwatching spots, and eco-friendly pathways, Bidadari Park provides a unique and immersive experience for nature enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

Here's taking a closer look at what you can expect:

Woodland Experiential Trail + Birdwatching Spots

The trail features majestic mature trees like Tembusu and Weeping Fig, with birdwatching hides to spot and hear birds.

Upper & Lower Marshlands

Bidadari Park features two marshlands: an ephemeral upper marsh that forms after heavy rain, supporting amphibians, insects, and birds, and a permanent lower marsh that provides a year-round habitat for aquatic fauna. Visitors can spot dragonflies like the Variegated Green Skimmer, waterbirds such as the Slaty-breasted Rail, and observe plants like Geli-Geli that filter pollutants to improve water quality.

Singapore lies along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway, the world's largest migratory bird route, attracting over 150 species between October and April. At Bidadari, a hillock between Woodleigh Glen and Hillside BTOs has been preserved as a stopover for these birds to rest and refuel.

Explore the land bridge across Bidadari Park Drive, connecting the hillock to the main park. Nearly 70% of the bridge is planted with selected shrubs and trees, enhancing ecological connectivity for butterflies and birds.

Adventure Playwoods Playground

Inspired by the open woodlands and rich birdlife in Bidadari, the Adventure Playwoods playground features a 5-metre tall treehouse with slides, climbing nets, and an observation pod. Its also a sand playground so remember to bring your sand buckets and shovels too!
