A while ago, I brought Baby L to his first water play experience at the wildlife-themed children’s playground at Tampines 1.
Located on the rooftop of Tampines 1 shopping mall, the playground has designated water (and dry) play areas catered to the different age groups.
The water play area is divided into three different pools – the ‘Hippo Area’, the ‘Rainforest’, and the ‘Arctic Corner’.
A shallow pool with mini water jets and fountains, the ‘Hippo Area’ is great for the little ones (even the crawlers) to roam and splash around.
It was such an endearing moment just watching my little baby play and having fun =)

Venturing into the ‘Rainforest’
While the big water showers at the ‘Rainforest’ were a tad too overwhelming for Baby L, he was just happy to be crawling around =)
Over at the far end of the playground is the ‘Arctic Corner’, an ankle-deep wading pool with a big polar bear slide and a smaller seal lion slide.

Watching how steadily and confidently he actually went up and down the water slide on his own makes me so proud =)
Oh, how fast they grow!

Hurray to another awesome and successful day out! Baby L had a splashing good time and buckets of fun, while I simply enjoyed looking at him learn through play. Gonna plan for our next water play adventure soon! =)
