The Far East Organisation Children's Garden located at the Gardens by the Bay is a combination of 3 play areas featuring different play for kids! The Water Play, Toddler Play and The Treehouse caters to different age groups as well as interest!
Water Play Zone
Once you enter the Children's Garden, you will notice the Water Play Zone, and it is easy to get excited and forget that there is so much more to do here! The Water Play area is a huge open space with water sprouts and buckets, and it is easy to hear screams of joy as kids dart around!

The venue plays upbeat tunes over the speaker and the fountains dance with the music, from little trickles to huge splashes of water! And did I mention that the kids are often running around in all directions as they take in all the fun!
The water play area is suited for 6 to 12 year olds, but we have seen the younger ones enjoy themselves as much too!

The Fish Fountain is actually part of the Toddler Play area, but since it is still water play, we will be covering it in this article. The Fish Fountain is basically water play for younger kids!
The advisory states that the Fish Fountain is suited for kids aged 2 to 5 yrs old. So instead of older kids running around, you will find the younger kids splashing and giggling!
If your child is younger and afraid of the huge fountains at the Water Play, you can start at the Fish Fountain and warm them up before moving into the Water Play area. From our experience, it is not very long before they can get comfortable (sometimes too comfortable) with the water!
Amenities
There is a washing area nearby as well as toilets. You will also find ample seating around the play area as well as a sheltered amphitheatre for you and your little ones to take a break between plays. Lockers are also available for you to keep your belongings, if you decide to join in the play!
There's also a café next to the toddler area where you can get your snacks and drinks too! This has started operating too!
