Exciting news for families! The beloved Waterplay at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden has undergone a spectacular transformation, reopening with a significantly expanded space and captivating new features. Now stretching across approximately 500 square meters—more than triple its original size—this interactive play zone offers children an immersive way to explore the wonders of the water cycle through fun and engaging water features.

Looking for more play options? Here are a couple of lists for you!

Bringing the Water Cycle to Life Through Play!

Designed to bring the water cycle to life, the Waterplay area introduces kids to the concepts of rain formation, transpiration, and runoff through hands-on play.

Interactive Water Fun for Every Young Explorer

Young explorers can run through a misty rainbow arch, symbolising evaporating water, or cool off under umbrella fountains that replicate gentle rainfall. The umbrella fountains also have interactive features, such as blue handles that can be turned to direct water sprays in different directions.

A suspended giant splash bucket adds an element of surprise as they fill up before tipping over, mimicking a heavy downpour.

Kids can also press buttons to control water splashes, making learning even more fun with interactive fountains!

The younger ones will love the shallow wading pools and the splashing water jets.

Hands-On Water Cycle Learning with Fun Lights & Sounds!

Beyond the splashes, the waterplay offers valuable learning experiences. Informative signage equipped with lights and sounds further illustrates key stages of the water cycle in an engaging and child-friendly manner.

Here, children can understand the importance of water for plants through transpiration and rain formation, and learn about concepts of the water cycle.

For a comfortable visit, changing facilities are available for both boys and girls, along with outdoor showers for a quick rinse. Families are encouraged to wash up before the waterplay area closes at 7pm. Seating areas are also provided near the changing facilities
