For this week's BYKidO Moment we look at Charlotte Ashlene's visit to Yishun Safra's newly revamped Pirate Themed Pool!
Safra Yishun unveiled a pirate themed kids’ pool recently. It has added a nice touch to the previously bare swimming pool. The play area however is rather small but I doubt that the kids would mind at all.
The new pool features lots of water sprays and pool misters. With the main attraction being this little pirate island that is accessible by a short flight of stairs with slippery slides on all four sides.
There is an age limit for the mini island, only children aged 4-8 are recommended to play on it. But I’m sure with parental guidance, toddlers can also enjoy the slides if they are adventurous enough.
These pool misters are not only for decoration but they also serve an important purpose in creating a cool zone instantly to keep the pool cool during hot days.
I reckon that it would be super crowded on weekends especially with this new play area and it might get too rowdy for younger children. So parents with toddlers and preschoolers, it would be better to come by on a weekday if possible. We reached around noon and it was almost empty. It felt nice to have the play area all to ourselves.
The kiddo had fun and so did I. We will be back but most likely on a weekday.

- Children below the age of 5 enjoy FREE entry into our pools.
