Crayon Shinchan-Themed
From 5 May 2021, Kumoya Cafe will be transforming its interior and menu to suit the mischievous Crayon Shinchan, or as most of us will recognise him as 蜡笔小新. Not exactly a child-friendly character but Crayon Shinchan will have been in the growing-up years of many parents today.
*there is a certain song, about elephants, that play in my head whenever I think of him...
For those unfamiliar with the character, Shinchan is a 5-year old kindergarten boy living in the suburbs with his father, Hiroshi, a carefree office worker, his mother Misae, his little sister Himawari, and their family dog Shiro. Shinchan likes pretty girls and to enjoy the “Chocobi” snack. He is quite a handful to his mother and father, and his funny acts often trouble adults around him
