The PropNex Family Zone at Gardens by the Bay, a free outdoor playground in collaboration with Families for Life, features Supertree-inspired play structures, a sandpit, and gardening-themed areas!

Venue: PropNex Family Zone and Active Garden, Gardens by the Bay (closer to Marina Bay Sands).

Singapore's iconic Gardens by the Bay has unveiled a delightful new addition for families: the PropNex Family Zone. This free, family-themed playground, nestled within the Active Garden, offers a unique and engaging play experience for children of all ages.

Parents seeking a fresh, exciting destination for their little ones will find this vibrant space a must-visit.

A Playground Inspired by Nature and Family

The PropNex Family Zone draws inspiration from the iconic Supertrees of Gardens by the Bay, creating a whimsical and nature-infused environment.

Children will be thrilled to encounter the adorable Becky Bunny, the Families for Life mascot, who adds a touch of charm to the play area. This playground is designed to encourage interaction, learning, and play through a variety of educational and fun elements.

Here's what you can expect at this exciting outdoor (and free) play space! 

Mini Supertree Play Towers

Children can climb and explore these impressive wooden structures, complete with ropes, netted platforms, and an elevated walkway. A thrilling tube slide offers a quick descent for adventurous youngsters.

Wooden Obstacle Courses

Balancing beams and wooden logs provide opportunities for parents and children to engage in active play and bond together.

There's also a flying fox where families can take turns zooming on!

Gardening-Themed Play Area

A mini market stall and vegetable-themed play elements allow younger children to engage in imaginative play.

Sand Play Area

A large sandpit with a red rope bridge and wooden stations offers hours of sensory fun. Tarps provide shade, ensuring comfortable play even during sunny days.

Things to Bring

Families should bring the usual water bottles, insect repellent as well as sun screen. A towel or change of clothes is also recommended for cleaning up after playtime! 

Location and How to Get There

Parents may mistake that the PropNex Family Zone is located with the more popular Far East Organization Children's Garden.

So take note that the playground is located at Active Garden, nearer to Marina Bay Sands. The Active Garden is located along the Waterfront Promenade, and does not have a dedicated carpark. It is actually between the Bayfront Plaza Carpark (nearer) and the Main Entrance Carpark. 

Nearest CarparkBayfront Plaza Carpark. From the carpark, you will walk along the Dragonfly lake towards Bayfront Plaza and further down. It will be approximately 10-mins walk. 

Alternatively, you can cross over to the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, and reach the Main Entrance Carpark (about 10 - 15 mins walk). 

MRT: Drop off at the Bayfront MRT Station and it will be about a 5-min walk towards the Waterfront Promenade.

Tram: Alternatively you can hop on the tram ride outside Flower Dome for $3 per pax. This is actually a service to Bayfront Plaza, but you can let driver to drop you off at Active Garden. To return, you will need to head over to Bayfront Plaza to take the tram.
