Local karting circuit company, KF1, is opening a new outdoor go-kart track at Singapore Expo carpark in late Aug 2021!
A carpark at Singapore Expo with about 300 spaces has been converted into a go-kart track operated by KF1 Karting, which also has a circuit at the Singapore Turf Club in Kranji. If it sounds familiar, KF1 is the company that set up Singapore's first indoor go-kart circuit in a carpark at Resorts World Sentosa in April.
Singapore's Largest Outdoor Go-Kart Track
There is not much information about the track except that it will open in late August 2021 and will include an air-conditioned viewing gallery, which will eventually have an al fresco dining area on the roof.
The new track at Singapore Expo, which can host up to 15 karts, will operate under a one-year temporary occupation licence and cost close to $1 million to build.
Pricing Details
In a comment on their Facebook post, KF1 mentioned that the pricing of the track will be similar to RWS at $28 and $35 for a 10 min session. This refers to the Novice and Advance which can go up to speeds of 30km/h and 50km/h respectively.
- Novice: $28
- Advance: $35
Must be 140cm tall
It is stated on their website that karters must be at least 140 cm tall and there are only adult karts available. There is no double seat carts as well.
For those who like to go on the Advance, you will need to have a driving license and to show it at the counter during registration.
