Renowned for its diverse culinary offerings and immersive cultural experiences, this year's Hanabi Matsuri is set to captivate taste buds and ignite a sense of wanderlust among visitors with an exciting lineup of new brands, each offering unique culinary creations sure to delight the foodie in you, right in the heart of Punggol!
New Vendors This Year
Among the much-anticipated highlights of the Hanabi Matsuri are the introduction of new vendors, adding an exciting twist to this year's culinary adventure.
Savour the taste of tradition with Itadakimasu's Shirasu Baby Sardine Rice Bowl (S$12), delicate, yet flavourful, this dish is the perfect amalgamation of simplicity and sophistication, featuring tender baby sardines atop a bed of perfectly steamed rice.
Rubicon presents a delicious Roast Beef Sandwich (S$8.50) from Hokkaido, a premium delight that promises to redefine the steak experience. Sourced from the pristine pastures of Hokkaido, the beef is renowned for its exceptional flavour and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
New to this year's festival are the smoky flavours of Horyomaru’s Grilled Squid (S$15) and Akashiya’s Omusoba (S$8). The former is sourced from the pristine waters of Japan's coastal regions, each tender, succulent piece is expertly grilled to perfection while the later is the perfect marriage of silky-smooth egg omelette and stir-fried yakisoba noodles!
Lastly, making its debut at the Hanabi Matsuri Singapore, Coco Gelato brings a taste of authentic Japanese gelato (from S$8.50) with flavours that promise to delight. From the creamy richness of Matcha to the refreshing burst of Yuzu, each scoop of Coco Gelato is a symphony of taste sensations that will leave you craving for more.
What You Must Try
Hanabi Matsuri would not be complete without beloved staples. Kick off with the Meijuya's Takosenbei, octopus rice crackers that are delicately seasoned with a savoury blend of spices, and the Kamata Ramen's Special Ramen (S$24.00), a comforting classic bowl of ramen!
For desserts, enjoy the fresh taste and flavours of My Mignon’s Premium Mix Jelly, and the Arashiyama Le Mans’ renowned Danish Taiyaki that promises to exceed expectations.
Last but not least, a special treat, Bashodo’s Warabi Mochi is handcrafted to perfection, offering a harmonious balance of flavours that dance on the palate.
