About Baker X

Launched in December 2021 by Far East Organization, Baker X aims to support home-based bakers by providing them with an opportunity to have first-hand experience running a brick-and-mortar storefront and interacting with customers face-to-face with a fully fitted baking studio and a 10-seatercafé. The café is operated in tandem with social enterprise, Foreword Coffee Roasters.

Guilt Free Food

Joyce Chung, founder and baker of Guilt Free Food, is a mother who believes in providing real food for her children. Joyce’s recipes are based on whole food that her family enjoys and are all made fresh, from scratch and in small batches, with quality ingredients, reduced sugar and no preservatives.

Be spoilt for choice with their best selling soft and fluffy Cinnamon Rolls – choose from a variety of different flavours such as Classic Glaze, Lemon Cream Cheese, Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter, PB Choc, and Triple Chocolate. Enjoy savoury rolls such as the Cheesymite Rolls, stuffed with three different cheeses and spread with a choice of Marmite or Vegemite.

Miso Kombu Rolls are laced with organic white miso, kombu, shiitake mushrooms, and butter, then lightly glazed  with a house-made sweet miso for a good balance of savoury and sweetness.

Debuting at Baker X are Guilt Free Food’s new range of gluten-free bakes. Choose from Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls in Classic Glaze ($7) and Salted Caramel ($8), and Mochi Muffins in Brown Butter ($5), Chocolate with Salted Caramel($5.50), and Matcha Tri-Choc ($5.50).

Look forward to the Matcha Tri Choc, a limited edition cinnamon roll flavour highlighting a perfect marriage of bitter sweet Japanese matcha with white, milk, and dark chocolate. Satisfy your inner Cookie Monster with thick and chunky Jumbo Cookies available in Dark Chocolate Almond($6.50) and Miso White Choc Macadamia with Cranberries($7). Gluten-free options are also available for the cookies.
