The 4th Happy Meal Readers Programme Book Series
McDonald’s Singapore is furthering its dedication to families with its 4th Happy Meal Readers Programme book series, “I Can Dream Big”. This latest series introduces children to inspirational figures and visionaries whose impactful stories inspire young dreamers to leave their mark on the world. Each book in the series - in collaboration with Little People Big Dreams and developed exclusively for McDonald’s, is complemented by a family-friendly activity, promoting bonding and enjoyment for all.
The newest addition to the series, "I Can Be an Astronaut," highlights the remarkable journeys of two legendary astronauts: Neil Armstrong and Sally Ride. From Armstrong's first steps on the moon to Ride's pioneering space voyage, each embarked on their own extraordinary quests fuelled by distinct dreams.
Free Storytelling Sessions
In addition to enjoying the books independently, McDonald’s is thrilled to offer interactive storytelling sessions hosted at participating McDonald’s family restaurants across five days from 9 to 17 March. Supported by volunteers from the National Library Board (NLB) and McDonald’s Singapore, these engaging sessions will bring to life the story of "I Can Be an Astronaut” and complements NLB’s LAB25 (Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2025) to develop a Learning Marketplace.
