The Artground seems to have also brought back their weekend programs, which provides more opportunity for parents to bond with their little ones over activities such as performances, storytelling, gardening-inspired workshops, and arts & craft activities.Â
This weekend, they are offering two different theatre experiences for two different age groups. In Search of You by The Kueh Tutus is a multi-sensory experience for tots from 6 months to 3 years and their carers while When Sadness Comes to Call by MySuperFuture Theatrical Productions is a theatrical performance that helps kids 4 years old and above explore the emotion of sadness and the importance of accepting it.

2. Storytelling Series: The Bremen Town Musicians

3. Sakura Featuring Hello Kitty

During this sakura season, if you start yearning for Japan, where rows of trees blooming with cherry blossoms draw an arresting sight, maybe Gardens by the Bay’s Sakura Featuring Hello Kitty might soothe you.

The annual display of cherry and peach blossoms at the Flower Dome sees a new addition for the first time this year – an icon of adorableness, Hello Kitty. The well-loved character can be seen around the Japanese-style landscaped garden alongside torii gates and elegant Japanese red-crowned cranes (Tancho). You can also expect a line of cultural performances and workshops from 13 to 21 Mar, such as the Ikebana Workshop, JAS Minyo Japanese Folk Dance, and Koto and Erhu Performance. However, participation is limited due to safe management measures and you will have to book your seat for the programs in advance.Â
4. Wildlife Quest with Detective Blue

This year, Jurong Bird Park is celebrating 50 Years of Flying High and you can enjoy their golden jubilee celebration with an array of promotions and activities at the park. Some of the highlights include an egg-shaped portal that will transport you to significant points of the park’s history, Past-Present-Future Photopoints, a new effort that will allow you to foster a flamingo, and colouring activities.Â

Jurong Bird Park is also introducing their very first Digital GPS game trail: Wildlife Quest with Detective Blue. Starting from 6 Mar, simply add-on the game pack to your park admission to join Detective Blue on a quest to learn the unique characteristics of bird friends, and on your trip to the park, complete a quiz or task on your mobile device at each of the highlighted exhibits to enjoy exclusive rewards.
Do note that the game ticket is not included in park admission, you will have to add-on the game pack separately.Â

World Water Day is held on 22 Mar annually and Science Centre Singapore joins the commemoration in raising awareness about water value and scarcity through a variety of ‘Wet & Wild’ activities and an experiential gallery hunt.
