The inaugural local farm-to-table festival will take place from 14 to 16 April 2023 and will be held at the Gillman Barracks.

The Local Farm Festival 2023

Themed Food Future, The Local Farm Festival 2023 will feature more than 40 local farmers, food tech startups, artisans, crafters and social enterprises. The Festival aims to raise a greater appreciation for sources of food, sustainable agriculture, and culinary creations that feature quality local produce.

EXPERIENCE how you can go from being just an everyday consumer to a local farm-fresh expert at The Local Farm Festival!

Organised by the Kranji Countryside Association, join local farmers as they inspire you with their farm stories and take you on a meaningful journey in getting to know local farmers and quality farm-fresh produce. Through a series of engaging hands-on workshops, learn how to farm quails, harness the benefits of microgreens, understand the theory and basics of aquaponics, and incorporate farm-fresh goodness into your daily meals.

KCA workshops are open to families and the community at large, who are passionate about learning and are keen to engage more deeply with local produce and farmers.

Be EMPOWERED with services, cash and mentorship by industry experts to take your food startup or food sustainability idea from good to great, at the SEEDtank event from 15 to 16 April 2023.

Organised in conjunction with the Sustainable Feed Camp 2023, SEEDtank is a Shark Tank event by S.E.E.D Ventures, an MAS-Licensed Venture Capital company that supports startups seeking their first investments (seed funding).

Because food future is the future, activate your business ideas, and start taking your food startups to the next level of impact now!

Open to owners of food startups as well as students from Institutes of Higher Learning.

Farm-fresh produce and artisanal products

EAT and SAVOUR quality farm-fresh and artisanal food, while enjoying the Festival vibes and time with family and friends!

Featuring a diverse range of local farmers, food artisans and food-tech companies, explore new flavour profiles and textures, be inspired by new culinary possibilities and tuck into quality local produce.

Exciting food options include leafy vegetables and mushrooms from local farmers, farm-fresh fish (and chips) and gelatos from The Local Farm Bistro, fresh artisanal bakes and chocolates, cold-pressed juices, just to name a few.

This year’s inaugural Festival will also feature FarmPacks for a Cause, a community initiative that aims to provide families with farm-fresh produce, sourced locally from farmers at fairtrade. This initiative is in partnership with Ray of Hope, a local crowdfunding charity.

The Local Farm Festival 2023 is a walk-in event for families, and the comunity at large. Registration for the workshops can be done here
