The annual festive organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) offers 21 family friendly activities. Come join the fun!

The upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre will showcase an installation of giant mooncakes that will light up the night sky at Shenton Way and mark as the start of Mid-Autumn Family Fun (MAFF). This three-day event features curated activities for families, children, young and old to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival the SINGAPO人 Way together.
Exiciting Activities at Mid-Autumn Family Fun
From September 6 to 8, 2024, families are invited to join in the exciting activities at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC). Be sure to visit the Roof Garden, where you'll find a captivating installation of mooncakes representing various dialect groups. This unique display transforms the garden into an ideal photo spot for everyone to enjoy.
When the sun goes down, enjoy moon-gazing while taking in a variety of entertainment options. You can enjoy both ticketed or free activities such as:
- Moonlight Delights Fiesta
Sample mooncakes from different dialect groups, play games inspired by Mid-Autumn folklore and characters, take photographs with the giant mooncakes rooftop installation and more at the family-friendly fiesta!

- Ah Qiu's Imaginary World: A Children's Musical
Join the enchanting bilingual children’s musical that follows Ah Qiu's and his friends' adventures as they learn about the importance of friendship, imagination and self-acceptance.

- Chinese Ink Painting on Oriental Fans
Unleash your creativity and design an oriental fan using Chinese ink in this family-friendly workshop. You can take home your beautifully painted fans as a memorable keepsake!

- Amazing Stargazing
Gaze at the moon and stars this Mid-Autumn Festival on the SCCC Roof Garden with telescopes provided by Science Centre Singapore.

- Circles in Circus
Enjoy an incredible array of circus acts at SCCC, performed by Circles in Circus, a professional troupe with a history of appearances at events like F1, the Light to Night Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

- The Moon Mission: a theatre production of a reimagined tale which tells the story of folklore characters such as Chang’e and many others;
- Grandpa’s Grandpa: Stories of our Ancestral Heritage, an educational workshop for families to discover more about their lineage;
- Hits of Classics: Ancient Moon, Present Light, a concert by SCCC, SCO and Lianhe Zaobao where audience will be treated to pieces related to Mid-Autumn Festival; and
- The World of Guzheng: A Parent-Child Workshop, a session where parents and children can bond over beautiful melodies.

As part of the festivities, families can also look forward to some freebies on 7 and 8 September 2024 as follows:
- Collect free mooncake sponges from 1 PM to 7 PM;
